2. General information

We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR, the German Federal Data Protection Act and the TDDDG. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. Data may be collected when you provide it to us, for example through a contact form, or automatically through technical systems when you use the website.

3. Legal bases and storage

Processing may be based on consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, contractual or pre-contractual measures under Art. 6(1)(b), legal obligations under Art. 6(1)(c), or legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f). Where cookies or comparable technologies are used, Section 25 TDDDG also applies. Data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law.

4. Hosting: Hetzner and netcup

This website and related technical services may be hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, and/or netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. Server log files may include IP address, browser, operating system, referrer, time of access and requested resources. Processing serves secure and reliable delivery of the website and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data processing agreements are concluded where required.

5. Contact form and email

When you contact us through our own contact form or by email, we process the information you provide in order to handle your request. Depending on the context, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Mandatory fields are limited to the information necessary to respond.

6. Google reCAPTCHA

We may use Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms against automated abuse and spam. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. reCAPTCHA may process technical and usage data and may transfer data to Google group companies in third countries. Where required, the service is activated only after consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.

7. Cookies and consent management

Technically necessary cookies and storage technologies are used to provide the website. Optional services for analytics, media, social platforms or marketing are activated only after consent where required. You may withdraw or change consent at any time through the cookie settings.

8. Social media and external platforms

COVESCO.MUSIC links to and may embed content from social and media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify and other music or social services. A simple external link does not normally transfer data until it is clicked. Embedded content may establish a connection to the respective provider and transmit technical data such as your IP address. Where consent is required, embedded services are blocked until consent has been given. The providers process data under their own privacy policies and may process data outside the European Economic Area.

9. YouTube and Vimeo

YouTube is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Vimeo is provided by Vimeo, Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA. Embedded videos may transmit device, usage and account information to the providers. Where required, videos are loaded only after consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.

10. Newsletter: MailerLite or Mailchimp

If a newsletter is offered, we process your email address and any optional information solely on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Depending on the newsletter system selected, we may use MailerLite or Mailchimp. A double-opt-in procedure should be used. You may unsubscribe at any time. After unsubscribing, the email address may be retained on a suppression list to prevent further mailings. Only the service actually activated on the website should remain enabled and named in the final configuration.

11. Google Analytics

Google Analytics may be introduced in the future and is not intended to run without prior consent. If activated, the service will be provided by Google Ireland Limited and used to analyse website usage. Google Analytics must be blocked until consent is granted; IP-related safeguards and the available privacy settings must be enabled. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.

12. International data transfers

Some providers may process data in the United States or other third countries. Transfers are based, where applicable, on an adequacy decision such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism. Where processing depends on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time.

13. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection within the limits of applicable law. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
